We believe in the unifying power of art in public areas. That’s why we bring it to our site at Abattoir. Art becomes an impulse for meetings between people who, for whatever reason, are yet to find their way to more classical cultureal sites.
We all have ideas and dreams. But sometimes, it’s hard to find the place or resources to really turn them into reality. But Cultureghem has more than 10,000 m² of space and a huge collection of tools on hand. And we’re looking forward to helping you!
Coming to Cultureghem is not easy for everyone. And so not everyone can use our toy boxes and kitchens. That’s why we are mobile and come to you, so that you can see with your neighborhood the possibilities for your neighborhood.
At Cultureghem, we’ve spent years reshaping public spaces into meeting places for everyone to enjoy. In doing so, we have developed tactics, recipes and tools for people and local organisations that want to build a meeting place in their own neighbourhoods.
