This summer, Cultureghem, with its MoBil and mobile kitchen, will be traveling through the city to transform public spaces into meeting places, play areas, and spots just to chill and be together. With various local partners and our dedicated volunteers (our DREAMTEAM), we come to you on bicycles with our mobile kitchens and “broedplek”- elements MoBil. We invite you to join us in preparing delicious dishes on-site and creating ‘crazy’ designs (basketball hoop, soccer goal, tower) for and with everyone who wants to participate. We will share recipes and stories and think together about the city of the future.
We will activate our one neighborhood Kureghem and we are also heading to the Maritime District to support our long-time partner Filter Café Filtré along with many other cultural partners with our mobile kitchen and MoBil during this summer’s Open Streets 2024.
Additionally, we are organizing a ‘Living Lab’ together with VUB as part of the European project ‘Street Forum’ on Ropsy Chaudron Street and Boulevard de la Révision. Together with the nonprofit Gilbard, we are transforming various places in our own Kuregem neighborhood into meeting places for everyone.
