Access to quality food is a basic human right.
Yet the situation has been getting worse for years. More and more people are being forced to rely on food aid. The coronavirus and the measures that accompanied the management of the health crisis have only increased social inequalities.
The agro-industrial system pushes the whole population to eat badly. The most accessible products (price, ease of use) are the most unhealthy, and the poor are naturally the first to be affected.
For their part, farmers are pushed to the limit, struggling with unfavourable contracts in hyper-competitive and unprofitable markets.
We demand the realization of this fundamental human right: every person must have access to quality food!
