Cultureghem has been activating public space for more than 11 years. Yannick worked on the expansion of Cultureghem for 10 years. From his creative mind, the first mobile kitchens were born. He built them together with the first Cultureghem volunteers. His building talent and visionary outlook ensured that Cultureghem worked out a nice arsenal of mobile tools that gave people the chance to cook, play, activate their street and connect with places and people. For the last four years, he took on responsibility as director. He guided Cultureghem through the Corona years and can now confidently pass on a solid beautiful organisation to an enthusiastic team. Two of the current team members are taking over the torch, namely Anne Watthee and Barbara Luypaert. Together with the team, they are enthusiastically ready to keep Cultureghem buzzing as that wonderful meeting and sharing place where truly everyone is welcome.
