In our DREAMKITCHEN we want to roll up our sleeves together with the people of COLLECTMET. We invite everyone who wants to process the unsold fruit and vegetables from the market into healthy and simple products such as soup, juice, compote or homemade sauces; which we can then add to our food parcels.
With this project we want to continue to fight against food waste and in favour of access to healthy food for everyone.
With this project we don’t just share the food we recover on Sunday, but we also connect people by cooking and eating together under the covered market of Abattoir. We are convinced that our volunteers are our very best ambassadors. In our kitchens, they get the place they deserve; where trust and emancipation are self-evident.
Because of the Covid19 pandemic, our DREAMKITCHEN is temporarily closed, and we continue to distribute food parcels to people in need. As soon as we are allowed to, we will launch our DREAMKITCHEN again, with great enthusiasm!
