Summer is starting and our Dreamteam is already working hard on plans for autumn!
We cordially invite you to take part in the Cultureghem Festival, which will take place on the site of the abattoirs in Anderlecht from Monday, September 18th to Friday, September 22nd, 2023!
It will be a week of food, games and Cultureghem’s grand celebration of culture for the season!
Here’s a sneak peek: a circus performance for the whole family on Wednesday evening, musical theater led by young people, culminating in a big party on Friday, and more!
The program is curated by our culture committee: a group of volunteers, neighbors, and residents who bring the site to life every day, and now make it their own through culture!
The detailed program will be revealed at the end of the summer, so don’t hesitate to mark these dates in your calendar!

The Cultureghem Festival is the result of “How to OMTA” – a reflection trajectory on how we can redistribute power in the city and how citizens can reclaim public space by taking control of the cultural programming of a place.
